What example are you setting?

Humans learn by example.  If you have tiny humans in your life or even if your tiny humans are all grown up, they are learning from you….what you do, how you behave and even how you think.

You set an example whether or not it’s your intention.   

If you have daughters, granddaughters, nieces (or any younger women in your life that you love) what lessons have they or are they learning from you?

Are they learning to give of themselves until they have nothing left or are they learning how to take really good care of themselves? 

Are they learning that their bodies are for the pleasure of others or are they learning that sensuality and sexuality are an amazing part of the human experience to be enjoyed? 

Do they look in the mirror and see their flaws or do they see and appreciate their unique beauty and the amazing capabilities of the human body?

I get asked all the time about how I became a lingerie enthusiast.  I don’t really remember any particular moment in my life that.  I’ve always known that pretty underthings are for women to feel feminine and something women do for themselves.

I remember a time (not too long ago) when my mom pulled at the collar of her sweater, exposed her bra strap and said, “Look, I’m wearing my new lavender bra!”  She smiled and added, “I’ve matching lavender underwear, too.”  I now know that I must have learned from my mom that lingerie was something for me to feel feminine and pretty.

Leading by example is sexy.
