That’s what my mom always used to say.
I’m not sure about your mom but my mom was far from perfect. We certainly had our moments while I was growing up.
Over the years, I’ve learned to forgive her for any mistakes she may have made.
I started to see that she did the best she could with the tools she had.
“Always Do Your Best. Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.“ -Don Miguel Ruiz
You wanna know what happened? I started to accept myself as less than perfect. I learned to forgive myself for any mistakes I may have made.
We all make mistakes. Right?
She did her best, I am doing my best and I know you’re doing your best, too.
Your best is good enough.
Doing your best is sexy.
Adrienne
